COURSE DESCRIPTION

In a rapidly shifting global economy, traditional problem-solving methods often fall short when faced with "wicked" problems that have no clear precedent. The workshop Design Thinking for Innovation is a hands-on, high-energy experience designed to rewire the way your team approaches challenges. It shifts the focus from "product-first" thinking to "human-first" solutions.

This workshop provides a structured framework for innovation that balances desirability (what people need), feasibility (what is technically possible), and viability (what is financially sustainable). Participants will step out of their comfort zones to engage in rapid prototyping, radical empathy, and iterative testing.

By the end of the session, attendees will have moved past the fear of failure, embracing a "prototyping mindset" that allows for faster, cheaper, and more impactful business breakthroughs.

THE CONCEPTUAL CORE

The architecture of this workshop is built upon four critical pillars of the design mindset:

01

Radical Empathy

Learning to look past surface-level data to understand the deep-seated emotional and functional needs of the user. We use "Empathy Maps" to uncover the "unmet needs" that traditional surveys miss.

02

Divergent vs. Convergent Thinking

Mastering the "Double Diamond" process. We teach teams how to first expand their horizons to create a wide array of possibilities (Divergent) before ruthlessly narrowing them down to the most viable solutions (Convergent).

03

Low-Fidelity Prototyping

The art of "thinking with your hands." Participants learn to build rough models of their ideas quickly and cheaply to fail fast and learn faster, reducing the long-term risk of project failure.

04

Iterative Refinement

Understanding that the first solution is rarely the best. We focus on the feedback loop—using real-world testing data to refine and pivot ideas until they perfectly align with market demands.
